Touchdown Cocktail Recipes

Patriot fire cocktailIf you need last-minute cocktails for your Super Bowl Party, here are a couple of crowd pleasures from our friends at The Newes from American Pub at Kelley House and Lighthouse Grill at Harbor View Hotel, both in Martha’s Vineyard. You can tell from the names of the drinks that these folks are Pat’s fans!

  • 1 ½ oz. Vodka
  • 1 ½ oz. Prosecco
  • Splash of Blue Curacao
  • Splash of soda water

 

Pour vodka and prosecco into a stemless martini glass. Dash with Blue Curacao and soda water. Garnish with orange slice and cherry.

 

 

Brady punch cocktailBrady Punch

This recipe calls for honey syrup, which is like simple syrup only using honey. Heat 1 cup honey and 1 cup water until honey dissolves. Remove from heat and cool. Will keep in your refrigerator for two weeks.

  • 2 oz. white rum
  • ¾ oz. lemon juice
  • ¼ oz. orgeat syrup (almond syrup)
  • ¼ oz. ginger syrup
  • ¼ oz. honey syrup
  • Splash of Peychaud’s Bitters
  • Splash of Blue Curacao
  • Garnish with strawberries and blueberries

 

In a pilsner or hurricane glass, muddle 3 blackberries and 3 blueberries.  Pack the glass with crushed ice.  Mix first five ingredients in a shaker with ice and poor into glass. Dash with Peychauds bitters and add blue curcao. Garnish with a strawberry slice and blueberry.
