Everton Toffee and Toffee Pretzels: Creamy, Buttery (and Salty) Goodness

There were no such qualms about Everton Toffee products. When I walked into the studio where the photographer was shooting the caramels and pretzels, she said to me, “Danger. These are delicious.”

She is absolutely right. Everton Toffee makes Butter Toffee Caramels and three flavors of Butter Toffee Pretzels. And all of them are amazingly delicious.

Everton Butter Toffee Caramels are soft, chewy, and buttery.

Everton Butter Toffee Caramels– This is the company’s original product, soft, chewy, buttery caramels. Now I’m a major caramel fan and I’m really picky about my caramels. And Everton’s caramels are just right—rich, creamy and, as RFT Editor and food panelist Anne Weaver says, “Has just the right stick-to-your-tongue-ness.”

The Everton Company claims that they use a recipe “inspired” by Molly Bushell, a woman in Everton, England who in 1753 made what is believed to be some of the first toffee ever made. Soon Molly’s sweet confection took hold and many, including Queen Victoria and Charles Dickens. Molly’s buttery toffee even put her hometown of Everton on the map.

Everton Butter Toffee Pretzels– Everton’s took their butter caramel and covered crispy, crunchy pretzels. These bite-sized treats are sweet, salty and crunchy for the perfect bite. The amazing thing about these pretzels is that somehow Everton has figured out how to keep the pretzels super crunchy while liberally covering them with sweet, buttery caramel.

They make three flavors of Butter Toffee Pretzels:

Everton Butter Toffee Pretzels are uper crunchy and packed with buttery flavors.

Original– Sweet, salty goodness. You’ll have trouble eating just one of these crunchy, buttery delights.

Toasted Pecan– These lovely, buttery toffee-covered pretzels have nutty rich notes of toasted pecans.

Toasted Cashew– Like the other pretzel flavors, these are super-crunchy and sweet-salty. However, this flavor offers soft cashew flavor.

Real Bottom Line: If you’re a fan of creamy, buttery toffee, you’ll love Everton Toffee Butter Caramels and their line of Toffee-covered pretzels. The caramels are perfectly buttery, soften and chewy; the pretzels are wonderfully crunchy with a sweet-saltiness you’ll find is addictive.
