I would like to purchase a 250G container of your granulated maple sugar. We purchase this item when we were in Canada and I have just about used it up. I didn't see a spot on your web-site to order it except by phone.

Thanks for your help

Hey Linda,
That’s great that your grandparents lived in Crawford. It's a small world, isn't it? Crawford is a wonderful little Colorado town. And, next time you visit, the Black Canyon Cafe in Crawford is really a place not to be missed. — Bobbie RFT Editor

My old stomping grounds. My grandparents lived in Crawford and we went up and down these roads buying cherries and peaches and he caught trout in the stream which my grandmother Edith cooked outside in a national park. Damn! Now I want to go back. Thanks for this trip down memory lane.

Yep, Portland, Maine (like Portland, Oregon) is quite a food town. This is our first story from our newest contributor, Noella Schrink, and we're looking forward to more from this foodie.

Hi Linda,
Yep, we're big pork fans here too at RFT. I recently came back from Richmond, B.C., THE Chinese food capital of North America, and sampled a crispy skin whole roast pork that was one of the best things I've ever eaten (I"ll be posting a story on it soon). Cheers! -- Bobbie, RFT Editor

Thanks so much for the tip Anna-Marie. Our RFT editors only have so much time when we're in a particular destination, so I'm afraid we missed The Oystercatcher. In Coupeville, we were only able to eat pizza at Ciao and sample the chili and cinnamon rolls at Mosquito Fleet Chili. Good news, however, as RFT editor Anne Weaver and myself are heading back to wonderful Whidbey Island. We're doing an RV story for MotorHome magazine and we'll definitely put The Oystercatcher on our radar. I hope you saw that we published the cinnamon roll recipe from Mosquito Fleet Chili in RFT's recipe section. Editor Anne is a baker and tried this recipe a few times (you can see her comments on the recipe) and the resulting cinnamon rolls are the best I've ever tasted.

If you have additional recommendations for us while we're in Whidbey, we'd be thrilled if you'd share them with us. We want to savor the best the island has to offer. Cheers!

Hi Pat,
I don't blame you for wanting to find where to buy Natural Vines Licorice. It's incredible. Accordintg to their website, you can buy Natural Vines Licorice in Maryland at Safeway stores. If that doesn't work for you, their candy is also available at CandyCabinet.com and Amazon.com. Good luck. Bobbie, Editor RFT
