Elizabeth “Libby” Margolis-Pineo joins realfoodtraveler.com as our East Coast Editor. A long-time East Coaster, Libby is based in Portland, Maine, where she attends countless wine, sake, and beer tastings. She insists she “loves all things brunchy and boozy,” making her the perfect editor to explore travel and food, wine, beer, and spirits for us on the eastern seaboard.

Libby loves a food adventure. She’s mashed ripe Tuscan figs into her mouth straight from the tree, ordered Poutine well past midnight in Montreal, and will eat the skin of just about any roasted animal, especially pig. In her latest story for RFT, she explored the food and beverages at Portland, Maine’s amazing Tempo Dulu.

In addition to being a food and travel writer, Libby travels every year to Italy for her import business. She imports and sells a line of cozy and stylish shawls from Italy – “Italian Warmth for Maine Winters.” Fans look forward to her annual blow out Italian sale.

Libby is also founder and editor of EpicuriousTravelers.com, which she created to showcase her published work and ongoing adventures. Libby says she’s delighted to be East Coast Editor of RealFoodTraveler.com.
