Just off the Florida panhandle’s coast, on the Gulf side is charming St. George Island. In June of 2023, one of its beaches was named the top US beach by Dr. Beach. It had been in the Top 10 for years, which is an accomplishment in itself. But the locals were thrilled to receive the designation of #1.
