5 Unique Places to Get a Taste of Rogers, Arkansas
European Gourmet – Founded by a family of Afghan refugees, European Gourmet has a restaurant and food shop with an amazing selection of homemade Eastern European and Russian foods. Menu items include Blini, Pierogi, Borscht and Pelmeni dumplings. From their deli, visitors can purchase French, German, Polish and Estonian Sausage, a variety of cheeses and many other European goods.
Yeyo’s Mezcaleria & Taqueria – Owned and run by Chef Rafael Rios, a multi-award-nominated restaurateur, this tiny, artsy restaurant has an amazing collection of tequilas and mezcals. The staff is happy to walk guests through tastings. The produce for the food he and his team create comes from his family’s farm. The menu specializes in tacos like Smoked Pork Belly and Pescado with a few large-plate options like Chilaquiles Torta.

Lasang Pinoy – In addition to their regular menu of Filipino dishes such as Pork Lumpia and Escabeche, Lasang Pinoy also has special culinary experiences including Boodle Fight, a Filipino group feast where food is served on banana leaves and eaten with the hands. Plan ahead and join in Mongolian BBQ & Bingo nights or Supper Club: Kuwento sa Kusina 4-course dining experience.
Tusk & Trotter American Brasserie – Under the guidance of Rob Nelson, the Executive Chef and Partner of the restaurant, who has studied in Europe and appeared on Food Network, Tusk & Trotter shows off the best of Northwest Arkansas food sourcing. Focused on seasonal and very local ingredients, guests can try nachos with pig ears as the “chips;” lamb pate; catfish pastrami Reuben; ostrich patty melt; and boiled peanuts.

Nola’s Pantry – Housed in a renovated old garage, Nola’s is owned by a husband and wife whose goals are to teach people how delicious healthier food choices can be. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus beer and wine and outdoor seating. They also have a specialty food/gift shop with items include soup mixes, honeys, hot sauces and spices.
