There’s camping and there’s glamping. And there’s something inbetween. Listen to our podcast interview to learn about CreekFire Motor Ranch, just outside of Savannah, Georgia. Rough it as much or as little as you want. Guests can choose between RV sites, tent sites, or CreekFire’s rustic and lakeview cabins.  The park itself features a 1962 airstream trailer outfitted as a food truck. There are also adult and kids pools, a hot tub, weekly live music, tennis, pickle ball and basketball courts.

Perhaps the most unique thing about CreekFire is that, while feeling very isolated, it’s only about 20 minutes away from Historic Savannah. So you could make breakfast by the campfire and do a little hiking around. And then have dinner in a fine restaurant that night after an afternoon of shopping! It’s the best of both worlds. We’re sending two of our writers (one a serious camper and the other a serious glamper) to CreekFire Motor Ranch to check it out. We’ll let you know what it’s really like. . Meanwhile, enjoy our podcast and get a glimpse of the scene at CreekFire, below.
