London Fog Cocktail Recipe for the Queen’s Jubilee

Pinkie’s up, there’s a new cocktail to sip, celebrating Britain’s Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee. The chilled drink, a twist on the classic and served in a proper teacup, was conceived by Tanner Agar, creative director at Apothecary, an avant-garde cocktail lounge based in Dallas. We’re happy to be able to share the London Fog cocktail recipe with Real Food Traveler readers so you can raise a glass, or cup, to Her Majesty. Some of the ingredients for this cocktail require their own list of ingredients, making enough to whip up a batch of these cocktails. We feel a “tea” party coming on…

“Our version is inspired by the tea house version of a London Fog; an earl gray latte. Rather than froth hot milk we instead wash the cocktail with milk and clarify it. The cocktail is served chilled, is then clear even though it has the flavor and texture of a latte. The honey brings it together but perhaps my favorite part is the citrus zest cookie we served on the side just for fun.” says Apothecary’s Creative Director Tanner Agar.
