On our first evening of our first trip to Maui, we were treated to dinner at Cane & Canoe restaurant in the beautiful Montage Kapalua Bay. Pinching ourselves over the scene while dining at this indoor/outdoor restaurant with beautiful views of the ocean, we ordered a Mai Tai, a cocktail iconic to Hawaii. Cane & Canoe plays around with their take on the Mai Tai, making different variations. In fact, the night we were there, the menu offered two different kinds of Mai Tai. Naturally, my husband and I had to try one of each to compare. Here’s the restaurant’s latest twist on the classic, graciously shared with RealFoodTraveler.com readers.
