Summer may be waning, but we can extend it a bit with something fresh and lovely to sip on the patio. Here’s a  Summer Sangria recipe from Blumenthal restaurant, a classic brasserie in Montreal, Canada. Travel writer, Libby Margolis recently told us about the place, and many others we must try, in her article, “Where to Eat in Montreal, Off the Beaten Path.” We appreciate Libby and the restaurant sharing their recipe with us!

Writer Libby Margolis and her husband enjoyed a glass of beer and a chilled glass of Blumenthal’s Summer Sangria on their recent visit to Montreal. It’s summertime in a glass, down to the very last drop! Photo courtesy Libby Margolis.

Blumenthal’s refreshing rose-colored Summer Sangria recipe rocks two of our favorite flavors, Cassis and Campari.

Hungry for more from Libby? We don’t blame you! Here’s her low-down on making the most out of the Montreal Jazz Festival.

And then there was that time she told us all about chocolate in Sicily!
