You’ve read her work on the pages (screens) of Real Food Traveler for the past few years but now, I’m happy to re-introduce food and travel writer, Irvina Lew as our new Europe Editor. Although Irvina has traveled extensively in her life, it’s Europe that holds a special place in her heart. During the pandemic, it was recollections of her many visits to France that helped keep her travel dreams alive. As Real Food Traveler’s newest editor, Irvina will bring a level of experience and expertise to coverage of Europe that only someone who has spent a great deal of time there can. See links below for some of Irvina’s European coverage for RFT in the past. And, look forward to more European adventures from her in the future.

Welcome Irvina Lew as RealFoodTraveler’s new Europe Editor!
First, a little bit about Irvina:
She’s an author and award-winning culinary travel writer. Her first foray into European travel, food, culture, and life was at age 19 when she studied at The Sorbonne. Her work has been published in many national and regional publications. She is a member of professional organizations in the world of travel writing: the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the Society of American Travel Writers, and an alumnus of Travel Classics. The former French, Spanish and ESL teacher loved traveling with her late husband and always enjoys solo travel and jaunts with friends and family, which includes her three daughters and two grandchildren. Irvina lives in Long Island, New York where she writes while enjoying the view of her garden and the water just outside her window.
