Candied Bacon Brownie Recipe

With the weather warming up, we all want to spend more time in the outdoors. How about a weekend picnic? Here’s an absolutely decadent recipe we’ve adapted for Candied Bacon Brownie from our friends at The Nose Dive gastropub in downtown Greenville, SC. It’s a perfect picnic dessert. Candied Bacon Brownie Recipe

Ingredients:
4 Eggs
1 tea Vanilla Extract
8 ¼ cups granulated sugar
1/2 T Salt
1 cups Canola Oil
1/8 cup Light Corn Syrup
1 1/6 cups Flour
1/3 cup Dark Cocoa
1 tea Baking Powder
1/2 cup Melted Chocolate
3/4 cups chocolate chips
1.5 cups Candy Bacon

Method:
Preheat oven to 350.
Spread out bacon on baking sheet, cover with brown sugar and bake until done: Cool and chop in a food processor.
In a KitchenAid mixer with a paddle, whip eggs, vanilla, sugar, salt until thick and pale. Then incorporate oil and corn syrup.
Melt chocolate over double boiler while mixing other ingredients,
Stir chocolate in bowl until smooth
Combine dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking powder) and add to mixer.
